Formerly MechoShade Nigeria Limited is the first indigenous roller shade manufacturer in the West African region.
We have been in the window fashion industry for 3 and half decades. However in the last 2 decades we diversified to include roller shades in our portfolio.
We still remain the Pan-African representatives of MechoSystems Inc. USA. Following the development of our Ultra-Modern roller shade factory (the first of its kind in Sub Saharan Africa) and subsequent rebranding, the company adopted the name MelieShade Nigeria Ltd.
Over the years, we have brought the wealth of our experience in the industry to bear on our brand, built a strong reputation for high quality products manufactured locally in our facility, maintaining the same international standard at competitive prices, delivering same with integrity, high degree of professionalism and excellent customer service. We still remain exclusive fabricators, contractors and Licensee of MechoShade System Inc. USA for Africa.
Our factory is fitted with the most modern technology in the roller shade Industry. We have the capacity to produce four hundred roller shade bands in an eight-hour shift, running two shifts a day. This positions us to respond efficiently to our clients’ demands. Our production and installation crew comprises of highly skilled engineers and technicians who have been trained and certified by MechoShade Systems Inc. USA, and are well positioned to meet the demands and challenges of modern architectural designs.

CEO & Founder
(MB BS, DA) Anita is the visionary founder behind MShades (founded in 1986), a leading provider of custom roller shades and curtains. A medical doctor by profession, a graduate of the University of Ibadan Medical School where she received a
Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery degree, she holds a post graduate diploma in Anesthesiology. She is an associate of the Windows Fashions Certification Program of America (WFCP). An Alumni of Lagos Business
school. She has worked in the furniture and Interiors industry for the last thirty-three (33) years.
LANRE DUROSINMI-ETTI
Executive Director (Strategy & Finance)
Lanre is a key driver of the company’s financial performance and long-term strategic growth. With expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and market analysis, he ensures resources are optimally aligned with business goals while maintaining cost efficiency and profitability. He holds an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and an MPhil in Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge, and also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW).

Executive Director (Sales & Operations)
Mr. Opuada is the Director of Sales and Operations at MShades, where he plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and ensuring operational efficiency. He oversees the entire customer journey, from product development to delivery, with a strong focus on fostering client relationships and optimizing workflows. With a B.Sc. in Accounting & Financial Management from Loughborough University, Opuada has over five years of experience in Credit Risk and Risk Analytics. He is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant

Mrs. Phil is a dynamic leader at MShades, overseeing all aspects of daily operations to ensure seamless coordination between sales, production, and customer service. With a keen focus on operational efficiency, strategic growth, and team leadership, she plays a pivotal role in upholding the company’s commitment to product excellence and customer satisfaction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and joined MelieShade Nigeria Ltd in 2011 as a Marketing Executive

Mr. Cyprian is a seasoned financial management expert with over 30 years of experience spanning manufacturing, services, and the public sector. Specializing in financial oversight, reporting, and compliance, he brings deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA in International Business from Lagos State University. A professional member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he is also an elected member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Mr. Ubong, Chief Technical Officer at MShades, leads the company’s innovation and product development, specializing in advanced roller shades and curtain solutions. With over 25 years of experience and expertise in automation, smart home integration, and material technologies, he drives the design and engineering of state-of-the-art window treatments that seamlessly blend style with functionality. He holds a B.Sc. from Lagos State University and has undergone extensive technical training in window blind production.
